That’s exactly what caught Julie’s attention when she was on the hunt for a caterer to help celebrate her company’s 5th anniversary. She wanted to throw a memorable after-work party as a huge thank you to her dedicated team of 18 staff who have helped her business flourish. And of course, she wanted the food to be something special.
Hog Roast Bruntsfield was honoured to play a role in the celebrations, and we knew just the thing to make the night unforgettable – our Southern Slow Roast Menu! This mouth-watering feast brought bold flavours to the table, and from the moment we started serving, it was clear we’d hit the mark.
The highlight of the feast was the trio of meats. BBQ pork butt, Texan-style beef brisket, and Cajun-spiced whole roast chicken – each one slow-cooked to perfection and bursting with smoky, tender goodness. And for the two non-meat eaters in the group? Our BBQ-pulled jackfruit stole the spotlight, proving that plant-based options can be just as indulgent and flavourful!
To complement the mains, we dished up Memphis-style crunchy coleslaw, fresh Greek salad, and ooey-gooey mac and cheese – because no Southern spread is complete without a bit of extra indulgence. The result? Happy, satisfied guests who couldn’t stop raving about the meal!
