We come from all walks of life here at Hog Roast Edinburgh, but what unites is us all a deep passion for bringing others joy. It just so happens that we all love our foods too, so of course we each found our way to Hog Roast Edinburgh where we could combine both.
We know that events are so often the most important days in other people’s lives. It can never be “just another job” for us, because that would take away from the specialness of each and every event. For us, it is a privilege to even be invited into a part of your day, never mind being able to help influence and shape it. As such, you’ll find our servers enthusiastic to get your guests all that they need for the day; you’ll find our head chef open to anything you may have in mind for your event, and even excited to try out a few tricks of their own to add even more to the day; and you’ll find our foods to be delicious, unique, stylishly presented, and always made from top-end quality with love and care!

It’s a simple question with an even simpler answer: because it is one of the best dishes around specifically for events.
Way back when, our founders worked the catering circuit with other businesses, but they had always sought out another experience that they could provide to events themselves. There had to be style, there had to be spectacle and presentation, even a touch of novelty and ingenuity. And of course, there had to be plenty of deliciousness. That is the hog roast all over, in one perfect, meaty, whole roasted package.
It wouldn’t do for us to just cook a roast in our warehouse and ship it to your event come the day, however. We wanted to “do it live!”, as it were, and so we took to designing and building our very own hog roasting machines – portable machine units that recreate the authentic spit roast without the hassle of setting up or clearing away. It’s all contained in one unit, and can also be easily adapted to fit other cooking styles, act as a prep table, or even double as a serving table too.
What this has allowed us to do is provide the nation’s favourite hog roast to events across not only Edinburgh and Scotland, but the whole of the UK too for well over twenty years. And we have no intention of slowing down now!
